Banahaw-Makiling Loop

 After my last ride with my son (which I shared in my previous post), I mentioned that my passion for bike touring was dwindling. I knew I needed to rekindle that spark and remember why I love doing this. And I was right—I just needed to ride for the sake of riding. This time around, I nailed it.

At first, I thought I wasn't physically fit enough to tackle this 300km ride. I originally called it the Banahaw Loop, but I accidentally changed my route on the way home and ended up completing the Makiling Loop as well. So this ride became the Banahaw-Makiling Loop—all 300km of it.

I finished the ride, and I can officially say: I'm back in the saddle for adventures.
