Mauban Biketour
This marks my first official bike touring trip of the year, and it feels good to be back. If you followed my posts last year, you know I hit a bit of a rough patch. Between various hurdles and a sudden loss of interest, I wasn't sure when I’d find my rhythm again. But finally, the spark returned. I’ll be honest, though: the night before the trip, I almost pulled the plug. The "cognitive load" from a long work week had me feeling completely drained, and my bed seemed a lot more inviting than the road. We’ve all been there—that feeling where your brain just wants to shut down. I’m so glad I forced myself to push through that mental barrier. There’s nothing quite like the clarity of a solo ride to start the year off right. Check out the story of my journey in the video below; I’ve truly missed this feeling.
